Kentucky’s Crime Victims Compensation Fund
Any person who is an innocent victim of a criminal act, including victims of drunk drivers, who suffered bodily or psychological injury or death, or who have lost earnings or support, as a result of the crime can apply. There are several requirements that must be met in order to receive benefits. Applications are available from your local police department, hospitals, County Attorney, Commonwealth Attorney, or Advocacy & Support Center. Claims must be filed with the Crime Victim’s Compensation Board, 130 Brighton Park Blvd., Frankfort, KY 40601 or call 800-469-2120 for information.

Advocacy & Support Center volunteers are available to assist a victim of rape or sexual abuse, whether she/he reports and prosecutes or not. Crisis services are confidential and free.
If you have been raped, you are an innocent victim of a violent crime. You don’t have to suffer alone. There are many people who are sensitive to your needs and anxious and able to help. The Advocacy & Support Center exists to help you.
Community Education Programs are available through the Advocacy & Support Center to provide the community with information concerning the crime of rape, the rapist, and the rape victim, plus prevention related information.
