"My personal journey with art began when I was young as a means of imaginative escapism and fantasy. A scene or image would capture my interest compelling me to express it. Crayons eventually graduated to paintbrushes, and I have been in love with the process since then. I love imagery and the power images can convey, the evoking of feelings, and the rush of imagination. Images shape our societal consciousness. My favorite subjects are portraiture and capturing someone’s essence on canvas. I also enjoy esoteric pieces, scenery and landscapes, architecture, pop-culture, the human form and body, emotion, and the urgency of an idea expressed. My approach to art is very much my approach to life. Observant, deliberate, purposeful."
